Metro Nashville is known as "Music City USA"
because of the thriving recording industry. We love this because of the money
flowing into the city from both the music business and from folks who visit.
However, visitors are often surprised at how cosmopolitan Middle Tennessee has
become.
Three major interstates pass through middle
Tennessee, and Nashville enjoys a large, new international airport as well. It
is ideally located for both business and travel. Many large health care
companies have decided to call this area home, as well as numerous printing
companies and, of course, music related industries. Saturn, Nissan and Dell
Computers manufacture here along with many others.
Bell Meade
Plantation
If it's tourism you're after, you'll find
historic spots like Fort Nashboro, the Belle Meade Plantation, the Parthenon
and the Hermitage (home of Andrew Jackson) in Metro Nashville. The Brentwood
and Franklin areas boast numerous Civil War sites, plantation homes and
cemeteries throughout their picturesque rolling hills.

all ages. Several major colleges are also found here, including Vanderbilt
University, David Lipscomb University, Belmont University and Tennessee State

types of trees found here, crisp winters with several snows each year, and

There are plenty of places to witness the changing seasons including Cheekwood,

Closing or Settlement >Closing Dates
The final closing date is an important item in the negotiation of the purchase agreement on a home. This is the day when the buyers get their ownership papers and the sellers get their money. It is important to remember that most standard contracts don't pinpoint a specific date, and closings can be delayed due to factors beyond the buyer's control.
The closing will usually be set as soon as the title search and lender's paperwork can be completed. However, any number of factors can interfere with the closing schedule. For example, questions can arise about liens against the property that were paid, but not properly recorded. Items in the buyers credit history may have to be cleared up. These situations rarely cause the transaction to fall apart, but they can wreak havoc with your moving schedule. Your real estate agent will keep you up to date on the progress of your closing in order to avoid delays and minimize any inconvenience.
